你好! Welcome to my humble corner of createblog. You might remember me, Sonja (I spell it differently sometimes.) Although I love to design, I have very, very little time for it. I blame my current position as queen of AP classes and a shitload of other stuff. I do apologize. In other news, here is some information about me.

other stuff: I love reading books, especially of the fantasy and science fiction genre. I also like to design layouts.

And a flower, doesn't even know it's own beauty it's entire life.

Where my inspiration comes from

My inspiration comes from the same place that your inspiration comes from. It comes from movies that I watch, books that I read and experiences that I experience. It basically comes from my life, everything that I touch, smell, see, hear and taste. With every layout I create, I try to create an atmosphere, a mood that conveys whatever I'm feeling at the moment. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail, but I always learn and to me, that is the more important than having people love or hate my layouts.

What about the current layout?

Well. The idea for this layout (which I named Autumn's Tears) came from hours of sitting inside of SAT classes and thinking about beautiful collections of fanlistings. I decided I wanted to make a layout that revolved arount the theme of Autumn and Halloween. At first, I thought about having a layout with Count D (from petshop of horrors) in it, because it would be suitably creepy for halloween. But then, somehow, I also came up with this idea, and because it was easier to implement, I decided to run with it. This layout features Mugen and Jin from the awesome Samurai Champloo. I colored them myself, and to be quite honest, I think it's the best coloring of a scan that I have ever done. I really like how it turned out and I hope you do too.

lol yeah.. hhmmm... I'll need to think about that. I used to have a poster of Yoda in my room, but then it got ripped down when I let my grandparents sleep in it for a night. Good thing I didn't have a poster of the Joker... I can just imagine that. I think I would be disowned if I did that. XD
anyways... let me see. I have a pretty plain room with a lot of books and little figurines of fairies and stuff. And MANY MANY stuff animals. You might try the minimalistic approach with having a single object like a lamp or a painting or something as the focal point, and yeah. Try looking at home design website, because they all have those cheap room redos that you can totally leach off of! XD

ohh i see.
i'm going to medical school, or at least i plan to. but i'm not sure what kind of doctor i want to be. i actually want to be a surgeon but idk. haha

i think if you want to be graphic designer you should! it may not seem realistic, but it's something you like

Anyways. My dream when I grow up is to be a graphic designer, but that is pretty unrealistic so I'll probably become something like a lawyer or something random. (You know the drill... doctor lawyer or CEO) jkjk. and so. I really don't know...

hhmmm... for a number of reasons. 1.) I am taking soo many honor classes. All of them except for pe and French (cause they couldn't fit me in it -_-)
2.) I play 3 instruments.. cello, singing (like opera style singing) and piano. And I have to practice, practice and practice for each of them. And my CM test is coming up. but it's mostly cause of my classes and the workload. I bet I'll hate 11th even more...

yeah, I don't l like living in LA that much. It's almost always sunny, and winter lasts for about a month. >.< I like San Francisco though, I used to live there :D
